Recruiter Phone Screen
The phone screen provides an opportunity to explore a candidate’s background in more depth and evaluate their communication style, enthusiasm, and understanding of core marketing concepts. This stage typically focuses on the candidate’s previous experience planning or contributing to marketing initiatives, their familiarity with digital channels, and their approach to creativity and audience engagement. The conversation may include questions about past campaigns, key metrics they track, and tools they’ve used—such as CRM systems, analytics platforms, or design software. This is also a chance for candidates to ask clarifying questions about the role and expectations. The phone screen helps determine whether candidates possess the foundational mindset and experience needed to move forward.
